Three days on the ranch

The Weekend

We've got The Jackson Ranch for the whole weekend, and we want it to feel like a getaway with all our favourite people. Pizza on Friday, the wedding on Saturday, Mexican and margaritas on Sunday. We've got the food and drinks covered, so just bring yourselves.

Come for one day or all three. We'd love to see you for as much of it as you can make.

DAY 1

Welcome Dinner

Friday, 17 September 2027

Come down, get settled and say hi. We'll have wood-fired pizza and the bar open. Nothing fancy, just a relaxed night to kick the weekend off.

6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
DAY 2

The Wedding Day

Saturday, 18 September 2027

The big one. We'll say our vows on the property, then it's drinks on The Greens, dinner in the marquee and dancing until 11.

3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
DAY 3

Recovery Lunch

Sunday, 19 September 2027

Mexican food and a margarita bar. Come as you are, nurse the hangover, and hang out with us one more time before everyone heads home.

12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Good to know: the ranch is booked just for us, so if you're staying off site you can only be there during the times above. The bus from BIG4 Racecourse Beach runs to match them.

Thirty-seven acres, all ours

The Ranch

Big spotted gums, Lake Willinga through the trees and the beach just down the road. Here's a bit of what's waiting for you once you're through the gate.

After dark

The Saloon Bar

Our favourite spot on the ranch. A proper western bar with dark timber and a longhorn on the wall. Expect to find us in here at the end of the night.

The pool

Pack your swimmers! There's a pool on the ranch, and the kids will be in it whether it's warm or not.

Games for the kids

We'll have games set up around the grounds all weekend, plus heaps of space to run around, so the kids will be busy while you relax.

The Greens

Where we'll head for drinks straight after the ceremony.

Lake Willinga

You can see the lake through the trees from all over the property. It's worth a wander.

The Homestead

The main house, with a fireplace and a big covered porch looking out into the forest.

The cabins

Dotted through the trees. They're all taken by family and the wedding party this time, sorry!

Getting there & staying

Bawley Point

101 Willinga Road, Bawley Point NSW 2539. It's about three and a half hours from Sydney, two from Canberra and twenty minutes from Mollymook.

The water off Bawley Point. Bring swimmers.
Where we'd stay

BIG4 Racecourse Beach

BIG4 Tasman Holiday Parks Racecourse Beach is just down the road in Bawley Point, and it's where we'd point everyone first. We're running a bus between there and the ranch all weekend, so you won't need to drive.

The kids will love it too. There's a heated pool with waterslides, a jumping pillow, playgrounds, mini golf and a kids' club, and the beach is right there.

Book early, as it fills up fast on the South Coast.

Getting there

Driving & buses

There's no public transport to Bawley Point, so you'll need to drive down.

Once you're here, we've got a bus running between BIG4 Racecourse Beach and the ranch for every event across the weekend, so nobody has to worry about driving after a few margaritas. We'll post the times here closer to the date.

Note that the on-site cabins are all taken by family and the wedding party.

The Details

Are children invited?

Yes, absolutely! Kids are welcome all weekend. We'll have games set up around the grounds and the pool is open, so pack their swimmers. Just pop their names and ages in your RSVP so we can sort their meals.

What should we pack?

Swimmers for the pool, something warm for the evenings, and comfy shoes for the grass. We've got the food and drinks covered all weekend.

What should we wear?

We'll let you know closer to the day. The ceremony is outside on the grass, and it gets chilly once the sun goes down in September, so bring something warm.

Is there a gift registry?

Having you there means the most to us. If you'd like to give something anyway, we'll add details here closer to the day.

What about dietary requirements?

Pop them in your RSVP. The venue needs everything a month before the wedding, so the sooner the better.

Can we come for just one day?

Of course. Just tick the days you can make in the RSVP. We'd love you there for the whole weekend, but any day you can make is great.

Who do we ask about anything else?

Just text either of us. We're happy to help with anything.
